For the sake of ease, I differentiate between normal robots and mecha based on the complexity of design. A robot like Mettaton or Jenny Wakeman would not have a price increase, but something from Gundam would. Other complex designs would be something like any Dark Souls character.

Anything more than a gradient or simple pattern would be considered a complex background.

For gore, I can do up to moderate injuries or flesh hellscapes. I won't do anything extremely gruesome.
